Then you might be a good fit for us.
We’re looking for a reliable horse lover who’d like to spend time with our small herd on a regular basis and help us with day-to-day stable tasks.
We have a Fjord, a Paint Horse, and a Haflinger—three unique personalities with big hearts. We also have two goats and two cats.
It’s important to us that you don’t view horses as sports equipment, but as sentient beings with their own personalities.
For us, it’s not about pressure, performance, or “just riding them quickly”; it’s about calm, clarity, connection, and respectful interaction.
What you can expect here: Time with the herd, horse care, daily stable routines, nature, tranquility, and—if you’d like—insights into horse-friendly work and horsemanship.
Depending on our agreement, your tasks might include, for example: mucking out, feeding, checking water, arranging hay, tending to the horses, grooming, ground work, and taking them for walks.
You’ll be a great fit with us if you interact with horses calmly and clearly, are reliable, enjoy rolling up your sleeves, and don’t view stable work as a chore.
We have a large riding arena, a round pen, various equipment, and a covered grooming area.
Important: You should be over 18 years old, reliable, and have your own transportation, as our stable isn’t easily accessible by public transportation.
