Looking for a stable community—for people and horses with a big heart - We’re expanding our small stable community to include a compatible horse and its owner.
For us, it’s not just about a traditional boarding spot—it’s about a personal, reliable partnership in our daily stable life. We’re looking for someone who wants to become part of our small herd with their horse and is willing to regularly take on responsibilities at the stable.
We currently have a Fjord gelding (21 years old), a Paint mare (19 years old), and a Haflinger mare (27 years old)—three unique personalities with big hearts and their own needs.
What we’re looking for: You’ll come 4 times a week and handle the stable chores related to the animals on those days.
This includes, for example: distributing hay and supplemental feed, refilling hay nets, checking and distributing water, cleaning water troughs, mucking out, spreading fresh bedding, and keeping the horse stalls and the surrounding area clean.
What you and your horse can expect: A small, quiet herd, a horse-friendly daily routine, plenty of space, paddocks, horse stalls, a riding arena, a round pen, and the option to put your horse in an extra paddock temporarily if needed.
Our focus is on treating the horses with calm, respect, and fairness. We enjoy working from the ground, ride Western-style, love and practice natural horsemanship, and simply have a fun time together.
Costs: There is only a small contribution toward feed costs, starting at approximately €100 per month—depending on the horse and its needs. We’ll discuss the details in person.
Which horse is a good fit for us? Ideally, a calm, socially compatible horse up to a maximum of 1.50 m at the withers. Mid-to-low in the herd hierarchy and easy to handle.
We’re also happy to welcome older horses, 17 years and older, with special needs. We have experience with conditions such as osteoarthritis, Cushing’s disease, laminitis, or age-related issues.
It’s important to us that both you and your horse truly fit in with us, our herd, and our daily routine. That’s why we’d like to get to know you at our own pace and work together to see if it’s a good fit for everyone.
