Summer Diplomat 17.5 inches - I am selling my well-maintained Sommer Diplomat dressage saddle in size 17.5 inches.
The saddle was manufactured in 2016, and we purchased it from the original owner about two years ago. It has always been carefully maintained and stored in a dry place. It was also inspected regularly—about every six months—by a saddle maker.
The saddle maker last visited in June 2026, when the saddle was re-padded and adjusted.
The saddle has fixed pommel pads, providing a comfortably stable seat.
According to the embossing, the original tree width is 31.5. Since the saddle was last adjusted, the current tree width may differ from this. The pommel or width can be individually adjusted by a saddler.
Overall, the saddle is in very good used condition. There are slight superficial scratches and tooth marks on the upper rear part of the seat, as my horse once bit into it lightly. The leather is merely slightly scuffed in this spot, but is not frayed or torn. The spot is visible in the photos and does not affect the saddle’s usability.
