Groundwork Lessons - Hamacher's Western Ranch - Bullach/Lauf a.d. Pegnitz - Hello, everyone!
We are Hamachers Western Ranch, a riding facility currently in its start-up phase with two lovely school mares.
We’re currently offering groundwork lessons for you! This means we’ll teach you all about groundwork training methods, such as lunging, double lunging, rope exercises, lead-line training, trail riding, working with a cavesson, pole work, and more.
The benefits and effects of groundwork can include, among other things: Getting to know your own body and its signals, learning to read and communicate in “horse language” through body signals, learning to move the horse using only your body without aids, building and strengthening self-confidence, learning proper horse training techniques and developing an eye for them, learning to understand the horse’s anatomy and biomechanics, optimal preparation for riding, getting to know the school horses on an equal footing, and building an intense human-horse relationship.
Each session takes place at our facility with our school horses and lasts approximately 1 hour, of which 30 minutes are spent training with the horse and approximately 30 minutes are dedicated to preparing and caring for the horse before and after the session. Each session costs 35€
The address is 49°34'01.4"N 11°15'11.8"E, near: Am Grabenacker, 91207 Bullach, Lauf an der Pegnitz
