Great reining Quarter Horse gelding with a fantastic temperament and lots of talent - Location: 92266 Ensdorf The strikingly handsome Quarter Horse gelding In Like Feona, born in May 2019, is looking for a new home because his owner lacks the time to care for him. The dark chestnut gelding, standing approximately 147 cm tall, is compact and well-proportioned, has strong legs, and was raised under the best possible conditions. He has been gently trained for over two years and, with his sire In Like Flinn (by Topsail Whiz) and his dam RS Balblair Jac (by McJac Flash), boasts a first-class reining pedigree. Finn moves beautifully, has excellent stops, and is simply a joy to work with. He is motivated, pleasant to ride, and always eager to do everything right. His wonderful temperament is particularly noteworthy. Finn is an incredibly sweet, calm, and people-oriented gelding who is absolutely easygoing in daily interactions. He’s also well-behaved and reliable under saddle, making him suitable for less experienced riders with proper guidance. He also heads out into the countryside on his own with ease and is confident on the trail. He has already proven his skills in the show ring as well. He won the VWB Reining Open with a score of 71 and placed third in the NRHA SBH Reining Open with a score of 70.5. He is also an NRHA USA Money Earner and has been nominated for NRHA Germany and Euro. Finn is ready to compete and is well-suited for Reining Open and Non-Pro classes as well as Ranch classes. Thanks to his great temperament, he’s also a wonderful partner for leisure riding. The gelding is healthy; he has never been lame or sick, is 5-panel n/n, regularly vaccinated and dewormed, and is easy to shoe and load. He is accustomed to both open-stall and stall housing, goes barefoot on the front feet, and is shod with sliding shoes on the hind feet as needed. A truly great, honest gelding with excellent qualities, a superb temperament, and everything you could want in a good reining horse. We are looking for a loving home for him where he will continue to be trained and bring just as much joy to his new owner. Direct from the breeder.
