Great Elite Classic Champagne Partbred Shetland Pony / Shetty - German Partbred Shetland Pony Colt, Elite Foal, Silver Classic Champagne
My little Damour, born on May 31, 2026, is looking for a lovely new 🏡 with kind people.
Damour is a genetically tested Silver Classic Champagne, a color combination that remains rare among German Partbred Shetland ponies.
But it’s not just his unique color that makes him special. He is a distinctly typey, athletically built colt with a beautiful pony head, good chest depth, and a relatively strong, correct conformation. His legs are straight and correctly aligned, and his dentition is flawless.
Damour was awarded Elite Foal status and, at just three weeks old, received an outstanding score of 9.5 for his movement at his foal show!
Pedigree:
Sire: DTL Drop’s Champagne, licensed and performance-tested, reserve champion of his 2025 driving performance test in Redefin with a score of 8.59.
Dam: Jelly Bean vom Heideland, State Premium candidate, registered with a score of 7.79.
Based on his movement, his correct conformation, and his interesting pedigree, I definitely see Damour as a very promising stallion candidate. I can also very well imagine him excelling in driving later on.
In terms of temperament, Damour is simply a little treasure. He is incredibly affectionate, curious, and people-oriented. Sometimes he reminds me more of a little dog because he loves nothing more than to follow you everywhere.
He is growing up in a herd in an open barn, is familiar with children, dogs, tractors, and traffic, and is already well-versed in the basics of foal training. He takes his halter well, offers his hooves obediently, is comfortable with the farrier, is safe around electric fences, and loads onto the trailer without any problems.
Damour is already microchipped and will receive full pedigree papers from the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Horse Breeders’ Association.
Expected final height: 100 to 104 cm
Starting in late November 2026, Damour will be ready to move into his new home—and I’d be happy to have him go together with his half-brother Dylano.
I’m hoping to find Damour a lovely, permanent home with suitable pony companions, preferably in an open stable setting.
