Bates Wide Dressage, 17.5 inch - I am selling (due to change to a VS saddle) a Bates Wide dressage saddle in 17.5 inches, made of soft black leather, with a wide spine channel. The saddle has the Cairsystem and does not need to be re-padded. It is very comfortable. With hook-on knee rolls.
The saddle is suitable for round-ribbed horses with a rather straight/not curved back. It fitted my Haflinger with a difficult saddle position (short and broad back, little withers, shoulder far towards the saddle) perfectly.
The saddle is well cared for, but has minor signs of use (see pictures: minor scratches on the saddle flap, wear on the inside of the saddle flaps).
It is, however, fully functional: the strings are still great, the saddle tree is not warped, the Cair padding is undamaged.
The gullet plate can be replaced by the rider. It currently has a gullet plate fitted by the saddler, which is probably the same as the lilac one.

Shipping possible (insured) or collection in Bonn. Testing/testing of the saddle in the Bonn area possible if the purchase price is deposited.

Private sale: The goods are sold under exclusion of any warranty. Purchased as described and pictured here or as seen on collection. Gladly with purchase contract!
