A handsome golden Welsh A pony gelding—9 years old - I am looking for a suitable, loving, and long-term home for my handsome 9-year-old Welsh pony gelding (approx. 118 cm). In the summer, his golden palomino coat shines, while in the winter he grows a particularly light, fluffy winter coat. As a foal, he was named class champion at the 2017 SVPK Pony Show. He is healthy, is regularly dewormed and vaccinated, and is barefoot. He behaves well at the farrier’s, and loading him into a trailer is no problem for him. He has a friendly and sociable disposition. He is broken in and well-behaved under saddle, though he may occasionally give a little buck. Therefore, he is better suited for experienced young riders and is not a pony for small or inexperienced children. Guided walks with small children, however, are no problem. He really enjoys being a lead pony. He also enjoys walks, lunging, and ground work. I’m hoping to find him a wonderful home where he’ll be lovingly cared for and kept meaningfully occupied. He will be rehomed with all his equipment included (including a saddle, bridle, two pairs of hoof boots, lunge line, blanket, slow feeder, etc.). A good home is more important than price. If you’re seriously interested, I’d appreciate a message with a few details about his potential home. I’m happy to share more information and photos upon request.
