It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to find a new home for my Black Jack. This decision is anything but easy for me, but unfortunately, we haven’t become the team I had hoped for him. That’s why I’m looking for someone who will do him justice, continue to help him develop, and give him a loving 5⭐ home.
Jack is a great recreational partner and is a lot of fun on trail rides. He enjoys trail rides, is confident in the countryside, and is accustomed to tractors, cars, animals, and other everyday situations. If he ever gets startled, he usually just flinches briefly and remains manageable at all times—he doesn’t get aggressive.
He also works well in the riding arena. However, he still needs further training and development. Therefore, I’m looking for an experienced rider who can assert themselves consistently and knows how to train young horses. For this reason, Jack is not suitable for beginners or children.
Health-wise, Jack is in very good shape. He has no known pre-existing conditions, is regularly vaccinated, and is comfortable with the farrier. Due to a slight misalignment in his front hooves, he wears horseshoes.
Currently, Jack loads well, though he prefers traveling in transporters or large trailers.
Jack is currently boarded at a full-service stable and spends the summer on a 24/7 pasture with three other geldings. I wouldn’t recommend a mixed herd, as he tends to assert a high rank among other geldings in such a setting. I could also very well imagine him in an open stable.
His equipment can be included in the sale for an additional fee.
This is not a distress sale! My only priority is that Jack finds the right person and a permanent 5-star home.
