Two eye-catchers looking for a new sphere of activity - I am looking for a long-term place for my two dwarfs, a miniature horse and a miniature Shetland gelding, with experienced pony people who enjoy keeping well-trained ponies and consciously working with them.
The decision has been made with foresight and a sense of responsibility. When the right place is found, I take this step with a good feeling.
The two horses have been trained carefully and professionally over many years. They are 9 and 16 years old, 90 and 100 cm tall, have a solid basic dressage training and have been worked in a variety of ways from the ground - including work in hand, lungeing, ring work and circus work.
In driving, they have driven safely in a sulky and in a gig - one, two and three-horse.
Both ponies are fine on the aids, attentive, eager to work and willing to learn. They like to be mentally stimulated and appreciate calm, clear and differentiated work.
They are used to children, but due to their nature and level of training, I see them primarily with people who perceive ponies as independent personalities, do not underestimate them and encourage them further.
The two are a well-rehearsed team and should therefore be given away together. A place with other ponies would be desirable, as they feel particularly comfortable with other ponies.
We are looking for a long-term home with expertise, time and pleasure in fine work - a place where ponies do not "run along", but can be seen and developed. The ponies are located on Lake Constance in the Constance district.
Prices will be discussed personally after initial contact.
I will be happy to provide further information and videos if you are seriously interested.
