Thoroughbred Mix Gelding - I’m offering my Thoroughbred mix gelding here because I just can’t find the time to work with him, and he’s too good to just be standing around... He turned 5 on June 20 and is ready to start his career as a riding horse... As is typical for Thoroughbreds, he’s sensitive and therefore not suitable for beginners or children. He appears to be healthy, with no known medical issues...
He needs clear but fair guidelines... He’s kept in my open stable (which should stay that way) in a mixed herd; however, he can only be kept with mares if he isn’t the herd leader—otherwise, he tends to bolt Rank-wise, he’s in the middle
He’s out in the pasture 24/7 and has hay available 24/7 in the winter
Now for his two shortcomings
He bites when stressed (a “biter when stressed”), and administering deworming medication requires a lot of patience, as this was unfortunately mishandled when he was a foal
