Strong character mare - It is with a heavy heart that I unfortunately have to give away my favorite horse "Abby". We had already been through a lot in the past, as she was a total bundle of nerves when she came to us (2023) and it was impossible to imagine a relaxed walk with her. Since then, I have worked a lot with her from the ground and gave her to a gentle groom at the beginning of the year because she is very sensitive when it comes to handling and her back. If she has someone who shows her what to do in a very calm yet consistent manner, she does everything for you, because if you have Abby on your side, you can go through thick and thin with her. She is absolutely not a beginner's horse and I would like to find someone for her who already has some experience and ideally also has some experience in training horses, as she still has a lot to learn. She is great to work with on the arena, in the hall and also in the field, both from the ground and from above. She is sometimes a bit naughty in the field but is never nasty or would break away, both in a group and on her own, although she is of course always more relaxed and nicer in a group. She learns very quickly, which makes her a great partner for life. As far as her back is concerned, she is a little sensitive, she has no major problems, but she is often a little tense (which is not noticeable with the necessary exercise and maybe a little warmth from time to time or, in an emergency, the osteopath), but she always shows this or other little things that could pinch you clearly. I have only ridden her for leisure so far, but due to her very good jumping pedigree I could imagine her doing very well in sport at some point with the necessary gentle training, but this should not be the main focus. What is very important to me and also to her is the varied exercise, as it is not enough for her to lunge her from time to time, I would like someone for her who, just like her, has a lot of fun with ground work and would like to try something new every now and then. I would give the saddle, bridle and bitless bit, as it was very difficult to find a suitable saddle because of her sensitivity. Abby has a very strong character and can be a bit of a diva, but she is never angry or headless and also comes to the paddock and wants to cuddle. She is currently kept in an open stable with a mixed herd and 24-hour grazing, which is what I would like for her in the future, as she doesn't like to be put in a box but would rather just be a horse in her herd.
