The lightest of all airbags, it weighs approximately 900 grams and is made of thin, breathable, and elastic mesh material, which makes this vest extremely comfortable. Encased in its lightweight outer material, it conforms perfectly to the wearer’s body while still providing excellent ventilation. Like all our vests, the Cosiair is equipped with the large cervical support cushion.
Of course, like all Hitair products, it features the special neck cushion for emergencies and airbag cushions in the chest and back areas. The additional fold-out pelvic cushion has been omitted.
The sleek design around the trigger mechanism and the cartridge makes both appear discreet and less noticeable.
I bought this vest—which is adjustable from size S to M thanks to mesh and stretchy softshell fabric—brand-new in July 2024 but only wore it occasionally at show jumping events until September 2024, so it’s in absolutely mint condition with no signs of wear whatsoever.
I never had any falls while wearing it, and the airbag was never deployed; the original cartridge is still installed.
