Side horse, conditionally rideable - looking for a loving home - I am looking for a suitable new home for my 12-year-old Hungarian warmblood gelding (approx. 1.70 m) as a side horse or for light work.
He has a buck hoof, which means that he is always lame or does not walk in time. As a result, he can only be ridden to a limited extent - recreational riding is possible on good days, but sporting use is ruled out. It is possible that he will become fully rideable again when his lameness improves, but it is impossible to say for sure at the moment.
The gelding is currently in an open stable in a small group with another horse and is very social there. He is people-oriented and cuddly, but needs a clear, experienced and sensitive caregiver - not to be given to beginners.
At the farrier, he needs a patient, experienced and calm farrier who takes their time, as he does not deal well with stress in this situation. He is currently shod in the front.
Occupation: Suitable for ground work and leisure riding, depending on his condition on the day.
