Stall housing (not strictly open-stall), since the mare is used to a stall and is low in the hierarchy; preferably a small private stable or farm, with daily exercise, access to a pasture or paddock, and a quiet, horse-friendly environment. Not required: indoor riding arena, solarium, etc. Respectful treatment of the horses and reliable care are very important to me.
