Quira de la Merced - PRE, mare, 8 years old, bay - On behalf of a client: Quira de la Merced is a very friendly, people-oriented PRE mare who impresses with her harmonious gaits and sturdy build. She stands 1.57 m at the withers, but appears more imposing and has excellent coverage.
She is a very well-trained and honest horse who gets along well with various caregivers and different riders. Under saddle, she received basic training before being used for breeding.
Her pedigree includes two ancestors certified as “calificado”; she is primarily descended from the Yeguada Militar (state stud) bloodlines. She has full ANCCE papers, has been in Germany for three years, and is thoroughly familiar with all local customs. In June 2026, she gave her owner a wonderful, healthy colt with a unique coat color, who can be viewed on-site and is also for sale.
Quira is currently being gently retrained. After her maternity leave, she will be ready for further training and new challenges. She is an outstanding and easygoing (first-time) broodmare and is accustomed to both stall and open-stall housing within a herd.
Due to summer eczema—which is easily managed with regular grooming and appropriate protection—she is being sold well below her true value.
Of course, she has been regularly dewormed, vaccinated, and seen by a farrier (she is barefoot).
