Between June 15, 2027, and September 1, 2027, I have two spots available for well-adjusted geldings. Our small, private open stable is located on our farmstead near Bremke in the Extertal—a quiet, nature-oriented setting run with a lot of passion.
🐴 What’s currently available: • Approx. 5,000 m² of partially paved winter paddock with a generously covered round-bale hay rack; a second one planned for winter • Approx. 70 m² stable with resting area, accessible at all times • High-quality hay available ad libitum in winter (long-term, possibly time-controlled—depending on exercise & body condition) • Supplementary feeding of small amounts of alfalfa hay from the drying facility as needed (especially during the steaming period to balance protein intake) as well as straw • Professional steaming of whole round bales (front loader available, approx. January–May as needed) • Summer pastures (approx. 3+ ha), accessible via a long trail • Automatically opening pasture gate to facilitate gradual entry into and exit from pastures • Over 1 km of riding trail along the pastures • Riding trails starting directly from the farm • Area for ground work • Dry grooming area in the barn of the old stud farm or outdoors, including washing facilities • Frost-free water trough with trace heating and filtered water • Various natural mineral stones without synthetic additives
A nearby riding arena is available by arrangement. (≈15-minute walk)

🌿 Our Approach:
A constantly evolving paddock trail concept that combines exercise, rest, and natural stimuli.
The horses should move around as much as possible on their own, use different surfaces, graze slowly, and experience a varied daily routine.
This includes, among other things:
- Long walking paths in both summer and winter - Structured areas with different zones - Plantings and deadwood hedges for nibbling, as a supplement to hay - Gradual feed transitions and tailored feeding - Focus on horses with sensitive or compromised metabolisms
The pastures are intentionally rotated—they are not grazed bare.
In the long term, the goal is to establish a harmonious, small herd of no more than 8 horses.
No free-stall barn, no stress—just space, tranquility, good feed, and horses that are truly allowed to thrive.

🤝 What’s important to us: • Only geldings, no shoes, very well socialized • Integration exclusively during grazing season (by early September at the latest) • Fair division of all necessary tasks (feeding, mucking out, pasture maintenance, etc.) • We are not a boarding stable • Reliability, honesty, and initiative are absolute requirements
Hay and other supplies are organized and purchased collectively. It’s not about “boarding” a horse, but about sharing responsibility and providing our horses with truly excellent care. With the help of our volunteers, we can get a lot done—so don’t be shy 😄

A human-horse team that • contributes honestly, independently, and reliably • enjoys providing good care and fostering a genuine sense of community • is looking for a permanent home, not a temporary arrangement • is a good fit for us—both as a person and as a horse
The stable is run according to a solid, well-thought-out care concept. It’s important to us that this concept is seen not as a compromise, but as a conscious decision. Only when our care philosophy, daily routine, and values truly align can something good and lasting be built here.
