Pelham – 14.0 cm – like new! - Hello everyone,
I’m selling a high-quality bit from the Neue Schule brand: the Slimma Swales Pelham (14 cm / 5.5"). See the photo for dimensions.
Condition: The bit is like new and in excellent condition. It was intended for our Spanish horse, but unfortunately, he had to be euthanized last year, so we no longer have any use for it. It was used only once during a walk and was intended as a gentle alternative to a Spanish bridle.

The Slimma Swales Pelham is the only Pelham from Neue Schule that completely eliminates pressure on the poll and instead increases the effect on the curb chain.
• Intended Use: Very popular with show horses that brace up, lean on the reins, push against the hand, or drop their heads.
• Effect: It promotes lightness in the hand and a beautiful upright posture. It effectively prevents the horse from rolling its neck or bending it too much (which often results from neck pressure with standard Pelhams).
• Special feature: The combination of the mild Slimma mouthpiece and the Swales side pieces almost completely decouples the effect of the reins.
• Recommendation: Ideal for experienced riders with an independent seat and a sensitive hand.
