Nogo de Lully - A calm and composed recreational mare with a love of work - Nogo de Lully, our calm and affectionate mare, is looking for a rider who will work with her consistently and give her what she needs: clear, regular training from the ground and in the saddle, as well as daily time in the pasture.
She is trained in dressage and show jumping and possesses all the qualities a competition horse should have. However, competition is no longer an option: she doesn’t feel comfortable in a tournament setting. She’s a pleasure to ride: she listens, is brave, moves confidently on trail rides—whether alone or in a group—and has a personality that’s truly endearing. No matter what we do with her, she’s motivated and has a pleasant drive forward. She’s very people-oriented, clear-headed, and drama-free. She’s well-behaved at the farrier’s and when being loaded, and is familiar with the vet.
Regarding her health: Nogo has mild ataxia (grade 2/5), shows a tendency to step out of line in tight turns, and exhibits hypermetria in her hindquarters. She is easy to ride; X-rays show no bone spurs or osteoarthritis. More information and videos are available upon request.
We’re looking for a home with plenty of pasture and a rider who enjoys working with her. Price is negotiable—a good home is more important than price.
