Info from the manufacturer: The competition rug (or show rug) with a filling quantity of 160 g has a lining made of artificial rabbit fur, which is extremely soft and thus prevents chafing as well as horse hair in the lining. The artificial rabbit fur also creates tiny air bubbles that trap and retain body heat.
The artificial sheepskin covers the entire neck and chest area and offers optimum comfort combined with an extremely fashionable look. The outer fabric has a diamond quilted pattern to make it difficult for the horse to bite into the fabric and tear the rug. At the same time, the fabric and pattern also prevent shavings from sticking to the rug.
The stable rug has a double front closure and two detachable belly straps reinforced with artificial leather. The bungee tail cord is also detachable and has a plastic cover for easy cleaning.
