The high-quality saddle pad lambskin with CORRECTION® from MATTES is equipped with extremely dense and resistant wool and ensures optimal correction. As the upright wool fibers slide against each other, they prevent pressure, friction and chafing on the horse's skin. Due to the MATTES quilting pattern design, the quilting fabric is firm, does not become lumpy or ragged and thus gets good washing and drying properties. No breaking of the filling along the quilting seams even after many washes. The front and rear lambskin edges and adjustable Velcro straps ensure easy installation and correct placement of the lambskin saddle pad. Maximum comfort is offered by the lambskin saddle pad due to the anatomical cut, the high withers clearance and the SPINEFREE® withers and spine relief. This means that there is no pressure on the spinous processes and the withers.

The saddle pad is equipped with a double layer core:
1st layer POLY-FLEX (deep needled needle felt) to maintain shape and equalize pressure.
2nd layer of polyester wadding for padding - thus air-permeable-

The saddle pad has a 2-pocket CORRECTION-SYSTEM with POLY-FLEX inserts and is therefore suitable for many types of correction. For example, for rapid physical development of young horses in training or for trained horses that change a lot during the show season.
To compensate for irregularities of the physique, e.g. in horses with unequal sides, for one-sided correction or in the case of a lowered back due to age, in order to restore the saddle balance. Due to the simplicity of the system, currently necessary adjustments can be made and, depending on the training condition, the number of inserts can be changed easily and flexibly.
