...is a colorful chestnut pony gelding whose heart can hardly be surpassed in kindness and size. He puts a smile on everyone's face in an almost magical way. Equipped with a character of gold and lots of comfort, he is incredibly fun to ride. His baroque appearance is deceptive at first, because he carries himself, is permeable and is fine on the aids.
We see him as a perfect all-rounder and family horse, as he can adapt well to several riders in different ability levels, always reacts fairly and can also satisfy two or three riders in terms of workload. Makar likes to exert himself and is quickly enthusiastic, the more difficult it gets the more he is motivated. He can be ridden with four reins - he gives you a fantastic feeling of lightness and makes his rider shine. But you can also send a child with him in the lead rein class and he will look after it. The same applies to rides, where he is always safe and reliable. Children can learn to ride safely on Makar and grow up with him, but advanced riders can also get their money's worth and learn from him.
He has been trained in classical dressage under saddle and in hand and is regularly mobilized and gymnasticized. He is a professional in free work. He jumps a course with flying colors and even prefers the farm's own cross-country course. In recent years, he has gained sufficient and varied cross-country and trail riding experience.
He has already taken part in small shows and courses at the farm and has been able to fulfill the wishes of some riders, e.g. by enabling them to pass a riding badge (up to RA4 jumping). He is also familiar with the typical hustle and bustle of the yard, such as children, dogs, other horses coming and going, riding in the arena with other horses, all of which he takes very calmly.
This unique gelding would make the impossible possible for his family!
Makar is stable and solidly built, he has a broad ribcage and therefore covers incredibly well. His buttery smooth gaits are very pleasant to sit on.
Of course, he is very well socialized and lives in a herd in an open stable. It goes without saying that he has been wormed regularly and shown to the farrier (bare hoof).
