Looking for foster partner for 13 year old gelding - I am looking for a loving and reliable grooming partner for my 13-year-old gelding (approx. 1.52 m) for 1-2 times a week. He is a friendly, bright horse with a little mischievous streak in his neck and therefore needs calm, fair and consistent handling.
The focus of the grooming share is on: - grooming and general care - light activity from the ground, e.g. lunging (lunging circle available), ground and pole work or relaxed walks around the stable - depending on how well you harmonize with each other
What is particularly important to me: - calm, respectful interaction with the horse - Reliability, a sense of responsibility and honesty - Experience in dealing with horses - a minimum age of 18 years or 16 years with legal guardian (at the beginning!)
The small, fixed tasks include filling the feed bowls (all prepared in small boxes), hay nets and the hay ball. There is also a small contribution to the costs, but we will be happy to discuss this in person. You are also welcome to support us at the weekend as a show attendant, but this is not a must
If you enjoy horses, have experience and can imagine loving, clear work from the ground, we would be delighted to hear from you. Unfortunately, it is not possible to share a horse.
