Large-framed German sport horse, gelding - Large-framed German Sport Horse gelding – a sensitive partner with a big heart It is with a heavy heart that I am offering my self-trained gelding for sale. He was born on April 30, 2010, stands approximately 1.75 m at the withers, and is registered as a German Sport Horse. His sire is Skyman; his dam line traces back through Amerigo Vespucci xx and Esprit. My gelding was born here on our farm—I’ve known him since his very first day. I was even present when his mother was bred, and I’ve ridden his mother myself. So he’s been raised entirely by one owner and was personally trained by me. His entire history is well-documented. We’ve already competed in A-level dressage and have been training for L-level show jumping. He’s also very confident on the trail, where he’s especially fun to ride. He is an athletic, somewhat sensitive gelding who appreciates a light hand and a consistent handler. Once he’s found his person, he’s very affectionate and has a heart of gold. When stressed, he can be prone to diarrhea. A veterinary examination has not yet identified any physical cause. Currently, he is mainly ridden on cross-country trails, as we do not have any other training options available at the moment. I hope to find him a loving, permanent home with people who appreciate his sensitive nature. A good home is more important than a prize.
