June 2024 Flexible taping on horse and dog - Flexible taping, or kinesiotaping(C), was developed by Japanese chiropractor Kenzo Kase. He discovered that taping can relieve pain in the musculoskeletal system and activate the body's self-healing powers.
Taping is also used very successfully in human medicine and in physiotherapy. It is impossible to imagine high-performance sports without the colorful tape.
To use this effective treatment method also for dogs and horses is naturally obvious.

After a theoretical introduction about the effect and application techniques of the tapes, we will first practice the use of the tape on ourselves.
After the lunch break, we will go directly to the horses/dogs present, where we will then apply different application techniques.
Practically practiced in this seminar are
- the correct cutting for the different applications
- the application of the tapes on the coat
- muscle techniques
- ligament techniques
- lymphatic compartments
- tendon systems
- joint systems
- and what else is presented to us in current cases
After this seminar, everyone will be able to apply tape correctly. Prerequisites are a good basic anatomical knowledge (especially of the superficial musculature), as incorrectly applied tape can cause great pain and health problems. Practice horses will be provided.
