Icelandic young gelding 3.5 yrs. later potential all-round reliable horse - My handsome gelding Dreymandi is looking for a new home soon at a very reasonable fixed price. Born in 2022, he is healthy, eczema-free, vaccinated and dewormed. He has grown up well socialized, unfortunately one of my stallions doesn't like him anymore since he was castrated, so he is currently standing together with mares without any problems, unfortunately he is bored and is constantly eating. It would therefore be nice if he could have a playmate again. He is very well-behaved and chilled when being handled, haltering is very easy, standing tied up without fidgeting, grooming is completely relaxed, lifting hooves is no problem - hoof care is easy, leading anywhere is no problem, loading is very easy - loading is easy. Stands absolutely still in the horse trailer even during the journey. Of course, he has not yet been ridden for his age and could start his training as a riding horse in the middle of next year when he turns 4. The way he has shown himself so far, his training should be just as uncomplicated as everything else with him. He has learned everything from foal onwards by learning by doing, and recently had his first real halter training, which he picked up very quickly. Dreymandi is a five-gaited horse with a good, pass-free walk. He also likes to show off his natural, ground-covering trot with beautiful movements. His canter is good for a five-gaited horse and often has an uphill tendency, his natural tölt is often visible in the transition and he often töltes downhill very easily and loosely. He occasionally shows pass, but then with good speed. He is currently approx. 137 meters tall and is currently in a development phase again, his conformation is athletically strong with a stable foundation so that he will cover children to normal adults well as a riding horse. It is also not impossible that he will grow another 2-3 cm and then reach a final height of 139, which would correspond to his parents who were measured at 1.38 and 1.40 stm. His dam is Stutbuch 1 registered and his sire Fizo tested, both shine as reliable all-rounders for everyone. And Dreymandi also has everything you could wish for in a future reliable all-rounder for everyone. With the right training, I can imagine him very well as an upmarket leisure horse with the option of sport, courses, trail riding, therapy and more. As a gold palomino pinto with 2 blue eyes, he has a rare special color that is also pleasing to the eye. Beautifully golden in summer, slightly lighter in winter but not as bright as many other palominos. You are welcome to meet him in person.
