Icelandic mare - Skytta is a lovely, trusting and curious mare. She was born in Iceland in 2019 and imported in winter 2022. She shows no signs of eczema. She has been at my stable since 01.12. for training. She is halter trained, knows grooming and tying up, as well as saddle and bridle. She can be lunged on both hands without any problems. She has also gotten to know the rider's weight in the last few days. She has mastered her first rounds without a lunge line with flying colors. She is always attentive and never jumpy. I see her in breeding as well as in sport mainly because of her good pedigree and her charisma. Anyone looking for a young mare to train themselves will find the perfect partner here. Over the next few days/weeks she will learn how to lunge, saddle, bridle and carry the rider's weight. Her current state of training is therefore raw (as of 05.12.23).
