High-level recreational/dressage/vaulting horse - For sale is an elegant mare by Don Frederic / Don Bedo (born 2013) with three very attractive, lively gaits. She stands approximately 1.78 m tall, and I purchased her directly from a renowned breeder.
She is level-headed and has competed in dressage up to Level L at shows—she also masters half-passes and traverses at a trot and canter. She is very intelligent, a quick learner, and curious.
If you’re looking for a well-balanced horse, you’ve come to the right place. She doesn’t get worked up when the weather turns cold or after a few days off from riding.
She’s well-behaved on cross-country rides (whether at the front or back of the group) and especially enjoys relaxed, extended walking rides in the woods.
She’s used to quite a bit: public buses, all kinds of bicycles, strollers, skateboarders and inline skaters, and ambulances and police cars driving past the paddock with sirens and blue lights.
Horses bucking in the arena don’t faze her.
She also really enjoys things like anti-startle training or Pezzi Ball games while free-ranging.
She handled a trial vaulting session very well, both at a walk and a gallop.
I can well imagine that she’s also suitable for inexperienced riders—but due to her size, she’s not a beginner’s horse and isn’t suitable for children.
Of course, she has been regularly vaccinated, dewormed, had dental care, and been shod (barefoot in the hind feet).
It is with a very heavy heart that I am parting with her, and I hope she finds a loving, caring new home where she is cared for in a way that respects her natural needs.
