Haflinger mare seeks a loving home as a companion horse - Donna Is Looking for a Loving Home
It is with a heavy heart that I am looking for a loving and suitable home for my 16-year-old Haflinger mare, Donna—preferably as a companion horse.
Donna is a strong-willed Haflinger mare looking for a quiet place where she can enjoy her golden years. She has mild headshaking, which isn’t very pronounced and barely affects her daily life.
Donna also has a fracture in her right hind pastern. This has been examined by a veterinarian and confirmed via X-rays. Based on the current assessment, surgery is not necessary. The fracture does not currently affect her and causes her no apparent discomfort.
❤️ What I hope for Donna:
- a loving and responsible home - preferably open-stall housing - definitely the company of other horses - people who have experience with horses and can meet her needs -no sports or competition environment -ideally a permanent home where she can stay for good
It’s especially important to me that Donna ends up in truly good hands. That’s why I don’t want to simply give her to the first person who comes along—I’d like to get to know her new home beforehand.
Location: Karben near Frankfurt am Main 16 years old | Haflinger | approx. 1.50 m
A home within about 250 km would be ideal so that I can visit Donna from time to time.
If you’re seriously interested or have any questions, please feel free to send me a message. ❤️
