Gelding leisure horse - With a heavy heart I am looking for a new home for my 14 year old Holsteiner gelding.
He is bred to jump and trained to medium dressage level. He really enjoys cavaletti work and small jumps. But is also enthusiastic about ground work.
At the moment he is only shod at the front. He is used to being stabled, but spends most of the day outside. In summer he is only stabled overnight. I would like him to be kept in a similar position again, as he really enjoys spending time outside.
He has been regularly wormed and vaccinated. He has just had his teeth done. He has been treated by the osteopath at least every 6 months. He also has a saddle specially made for him, which can be purchased for an extra charge.
In the time he has been with me, he has never had a colic or any other serious illness or injury.
Important: He is not a beginner horse! He needs a rider who gives him security and communicates clearly.
He's very eager off-road and needs a lot of security here too. I would always recommend going off-road with a group, as this gives him the necessary security.
