Fondation-Oldenburger as side plate - Best place wanted - It is with a heavy heart that I am looking for a new home for my 1.72 m tall, foundation-bred Oldenburg gelding. He is an absolute treasure to handle (also in contact with my 4-year-old daughter), absolutely herd-friendly (herd of geldings) and a fundamentally decent guy - a real buddy for any nonsense.
As far as his problems are concerned (honesty is important to me):
He has a diagnosed hoof roll condition. At his last clinical examination by an orthopaedic specialist, he was in top condition, springy and clean, but ticked under regular load (trot). He is therefore expressly offered as a non-rideable side horse. In addition, he currently reacts sensitively to dust (acute thrust favored by Sahara sand and the direct field location at the stable). However, clinical findings from the previous year (bronchoscopy & allergy test) were completely unremarkable. This suggests that he can quickly recover in a different location, away from intensive farming.
Key data: Character: Absolutely well-behaved, good with forging and loading (barehoof), knows children,
Insurance: He currently has OP insurance (VTV). This contract can possibly be taken over by the new owner after consultation.
I am looking for: A place where he can just "be a horse" - ideally in an open stable or as a side horse for a senior, for example. Unfortunately, I can no longer offer him the environment he needs for his lungs here at the location (Tullnerfeld/field work). The horse will be given to Bestplatz free of charge.
His inhaler and other accessories can be taken over on request. If you are seriously interested, please send me a message with a short description of the new home. No dealers!
