Taro is a 7-year-old European Western-style gelding and a truly sweet and level-headed leisure partner. He can be ridden in both English and Western styles.
Whether it’s a tractor, a car, or a dog, Taro walks right past them and is truly a “cool guy.” He’s also well-behaved and reliable when it comes to grooming, tacking up, loading, visits to the farrier, and mounting.
We’ve had Taro for about a year. Our 14-year-old daughter took riding lessons on him once a week and otherwise spent a lot of time riding him on trail rides, either alone with our dog or in a group. Long walks are his thing, and he’s very eager to learn in the arena.
Taro is a wonderful, people-oriented horse whose sweet nature quickly wins your heart. ❤️ He loves his life in the herd in an open stable and is barefoot. Unfortunately, we don’t have the time to give him the stimulation and exercise he deserves and needs. That’s why we’re hoping to find him a truly wonderful, loving home where he’ll continue to be nurtured, get to spend plenty of time with his human, and simply be a horse!
