Esja is an experienced mare with a strong character who was imported from Iceland in December. The plan was to take her into training after foaling (foaling date is around the beginning/middle of June). It quickly became clear that Esja is a broodmare with heart and soul and so we decided not to put her under saddle - also out of consideration for her age. She is rather sensitive and very focused on human body language. It took her time to thaw out and to trust and she should therefore find her future place in a small hobby breed run with warmth of heart. In a manageable herd of mares, in a calm environment without hectic and stress. This summer she could use the farm's own stallion or of course a stallion of your choice (not included in the price). Preferably with horse people, horsemanship riders, who will respond to her nature without pressure and with a lot of calm and who will impart more and more knowledge to her over time. Or simply let her be a horse. Esja is looking for people with a warm heart.
