5 parts set military saddle size 2, used, partly original, partly renewed, partly as good as new.
- Criollo combination saddle, for square work and trail rides, army saddle size 2, model 89, no. 4 15, from 1915, seat 18, coat sack strap also suitable for crupper, with renewed 2cm felt pad (with nibble marks), girth straps (renewed), - stirrup leathers (renewed), - stirrup leathers (original), - Stripe girth no. 52 (original). - Woilach as new 130x200cm made of 100% virgin sheep's wool (mothproof treated).
According to the book Feldartelleirie from 1904 size 2 fits horses with narrow shoulder, high withers and short curved back.... suitable for the most common warmblood breeds or large pony types...
The saddle was used on an Argentine Criollo also suitable for similar slender breeds such as Trakehner, Hanoverian, English Thoroughbred, polo ponies etc....
ALL our used saddles from private owners are checked, no warped or broken tree, no cracked gullet, no defective camber spring, no torn girth or stirrup bars, dusted and cleaned, can be modified by saddler or the company Witex/Winz in Nettetal (specialized in military saddles).
