Conditionally rideable gelding - It is with a heavy heart that I am giving up my 11-year-old Cruzado gelding. He can only be ridden to a limited extent, can be lunged on a halter, and is familiar with double lunging (which he really enjoys). Unfortunately, he has a few issues: - Old tendon injury on the front right leg (three and a half years ago) - Mild tendon injury on the front left leg (half a year ago, but it was a very minor injury) - Equine asthma - Problems with lymphatic drainage (his hind legs occasionally swell) - Sensitive stomach (gets stressed easily) - Summer eczema (has been treatable with allergy pills so far)
Not a horse for children; needs a primary caregiver with whom he can build trust He is kept in a paddock stall, only has access to pasture for a few hours at a time, requires steamed hay, does not mix well with other horses (can be kept with at most one other horse), is fed a grain-free, low-sugar diet with no alfalfa or soy
Private sale Some equipment can be purchased along with the horse (including blankets, etc.)
