For the 2018 born Appaloosa gelding Cloud (color: chestnut/sorrel, stick size approx. 155 cm, full papers) is looking for a suitable new home with experienced, sensitive horse people. Cloud is a compact, well-built gelding with a stable foundation. He runs barehoof and only knows open stables or paddock trails - this form of husbandry would also be expressly desired in the future. He is people-oriented, friendly, curious, very affectionate (in the best sense of the word) and always respectful in handling. Cloud loves children, is used to dogs and loves working with people. He has solid basic western training and was professionally ridden for approx. 4.5 months in 2023. He is not currently in training. He is well-behaved and calm in the field - he goes out alone without any problems if you give him security. Cloud is of medium to high rank in the herd, but subordinates himself well and is very well socialized. This makes him an unproblematic partner in the herd. Cloud particularly enjoys ground work, circling and clicker training - he is very motivated and enthusiastic about these activities. Cloud's teeth are done annually, so he is well looked after in this respect. Important to know:- Cloud needs to be handled fairly and patiently - he can't cope with too much pressure under the rider. He is prone to watery stools, which can be well controlled with appropriate feeding (vet-checked). A new, made-to-measure western saddle and other accessories can be purchased if interested. Only serious inquiries from horse people with heart, experience and the desire for a real partner on four hooves. It is not about a quick sale, but about a permanent good home for a special gelding.
