Gelding, 8 years old, 175m, compact build
We’re looking for a loving home with experienced horse owners, where he’ll be just as loved and nurtured as he is with us. (No absolute beginners) **The right home is more important than the price—we’ll only sell if everything is a good fit!**
He is an incredibly people-oriented horse, which is why this decision is anything but easy for us.
Dressage: - Reliable at home and at competitions - Placed at the A level; has begun learning L-level exercises such as the short turn and outside canter - Motivated, responsive to aids, and easy to ride even after several days off - Can be ridden in contact even by a small child
Jumping: - Currently in full training and is regularly jumped up to approximately M-level - Placed at A-level; is regularly presented at competitions (most recent starts in show jumping classes—out of competition due to age—all clear rounds; videos of the rounds available)
Cross-Country & Handling: - Is accustomed to trail rides through fields and woods. Moves forward confidently even when other horses are looking at something - Very easygoing! and gets along well with other horses in the pasture
Why are we parting with him?
Unfortunately, the horse and rider aren’t a good fit when it comes to jumping. They’re increasingly working against each other rather than with each other. That’s why he’s currently being ridden by another young woman.
