Our private stable combines a rural idyll with comfort for both horse and rider: While the beautiful Deister countryside, accessible directly from the farm, invites you to enjoy long trail rides, a small riding arena is available for daily training. A particular highlight: Despite its natural setting, the stable has excellent public transportation connections.
We follow a management approach that utilizes extensive pastureland. In winter, the horses spend the nights in their stalls and the days in a fenced paddock with shelter; during the summer months, our small herd enjoys 24/7 access to pasture. The group currently consists of one mare and one gelding (both 14 years old). Next to the stable, the family-run farm features a café and a guesthouse.
Our philosophy is a relaxed, self-sufficient community. By fairly dividing the morning and evening chores (feeding, bringing the horses in and out, clearing manure from the paddock and pasture) among everyone, the time commitment for each individual is reduced to just 4–5 shifts per week. Hay and straw are organized individually and can be stored in the hayloft. A lockable tack room is also available.
