14 year old PRE gelding 165cm looking for best place - Due to giving up riding, I am looking for a new home for my 14-year-old PRE gelding Rondeno LXXVII (born 15.03.2011, height approx. 165 cm). He is a Uterano grandson with a highly noble and honest character and was gelded in March 2024.
He has been in my care since 2015 and was licensed in 2019. He comes from the renowned Yeguada Can Boada and the old breeding of Miguel Angel de Cardenas. Rondeno is an outstanding horse with an impeccable character.
He is used to being kept in an open stable in small groups, ideally with one or two other geldings. He is not used to larger groups of horses - he would need to be introduced to integration slowly and carefully.
Rondeno is well trained and ridden in all gaits. He is very docile, fearless and always strives to do everything right. His character is simply fantastic - I can't emphasize enough how noble-minded he is, despite his long time as a stallion he is always one hundred percent with me.
In recent years, he has only been ridden a little and irregularly due to illness on my part. Despite these breaks, he always remains well-behaved, friendly and easy to handle. He still needs to get back into training as he has hardly been ridden for almost 2 years.
He has been barehoof since I got him, has never been ill in all these years and is very robust. His teeth were freshly done in 2024 and he is regularly vaccinated.
