1 cavalry ammunition saddle and 1 supply saddle, both from 1972 - The cavalry pack saddle was used by the assault squad to transport ammunition, and the train pack saddle was used to transport hay, building materials, provisions, etc. Despite their military use, the saddles are in good, complete condition; the leather and leather pads are well-maintained, show signs of wear, but are still serviceable (one strap is torn but can be replaced). The cavalry ammunition pack saddle is very well suited for transporting trail riding gear. The train pack saddle is the newest and also the last model in Swiss military equestrian history, replacing the traditional heavy old (wooden) pommel saddle.
