Versatile Cruzado mare - Location: 31608 Marklohe For sale is a versatile, stunningly beautiful Cruzado mare with great potential. This dark bay mare (born 2018), standing approximately 162 cm at the withers, impresses with her correct, compact conformation and her very supple and pleasant basic gaits. She was initially broken in using Western methods and subsequently trained in dressage. She is eager to learn, intelligent, and always interested in new tasks. She is familiar with work on the lunge and double lunge and has also been regularly trained in groundwork and free work. In classical riding, she has already mastered transitions, shoulder-in, lateral movements, and light gait extensions. Colina has been trained in a versatile manner and demonstrates sensitivity and attentiveness. She is exceptionally people-oriented, friendly, and open-minded toward both humans and other horses. On trail rides, she is relaxed and reliable in a group. She is currently slightly overweight due to a very good hay diet, but otherwise in good health. The mare is barefoot, regularly vaccinated, and dewormed. She is accustomed to stall housing with access to a paddock, as well as 24-hour pasture access in the summer. Under saddle, she is generally manageable even for less experienced riders, but still requires the rider’s support for further training, particularly in contact and when performing more advanced exercises. Therefore, she is not a horse for beginners, but is ideal for ambitious, experienced recreational riders or for further competitive training. A true all-around talent with a big heart, character, and a bright future—a dream horse for experienced, calm riders who wish to continue developing her potential. During a comprehensive health examination in March, an incidental finding (bilateral ossification of the hoof cartilage) was detected, but this has not caused any discomfort or other issues to date.
