IT IS WITH A HEAVY HEART THAT I HAVE TO PART WITH MY CUDDLY GELDING TARAN. He was originally born as a playmate for my broodmare's foal and the plan was actually to sell him as a one-year-old. But I was quickly enchanted by his loving nature, so I kept him and trained him further.
However, I am now at a point where I realize that I unfortunately don't have the time to give him the attention and encouragement he deserves. That's why I'm looking for someone who can give my motivated gelding exactly that. Taran wants to please his owner and works with a lot of joy and motivation.
He already knows a lot for his young age: - Cross-country: I have been out with him regularly - both for walks and as a hand horse in all three gaits, always well-behaved and reliable, whether alone or accompanied by other horses. Even when there is no contact with the herd, he remains calm and composed. - Calmness training: Through targeted training, he remains relaxed around umbrellas, tarpaulins, spray bottles, etc. He is also completely fearless when putting on a saddle or wearing a sweat rug. - Ground work: I have worked with him on leading exercises, turning in front and behind, sending off and loading as well as some of the Parelli games. - Lunging: He is easily lunged, understands walk, trot and side changes. - Transport: He goes into the trailer calmly and without fear.
Taran also impresses with his great looks, he is a black and tan pinto and could slowly fade over the years. With a final height of approx. 160 and his harmonious build, he is a real eye-catcher.
I attach great importance to healthy, well-balanced hooves and work on his hooves every 4 weeks from the start. A professional looks over his hooves every few months to make sure no mistakes creep in. Thanks to the regular trimming, he has very strong, healthy hooves and also walks over stony ground without any problems. He is also very well-behaved when being groomed, as he has been used to this since his first month of life.
He currently lives in a harmonious open stable with 11 other horses and fits in very well with the herd; he is rather low in rank and playful.
If you are looking for a loyal partner for life - a horse that will delight you with his fun, willingness to learn and warm nature and can still be shaped to suit your own ideas, you will find your ideal companion in Taran.
