Available for a classically/ academically trained rider
With a very heavy heart, but due to health reasons, I am offering my beautiful stallion Carthago for the right home.
Who is Carthago
Carthago is the last foal (June 2025) of my very talented and kind mare Florinna. She has certainly passed on her wonderful qualities to her son. He is well balanced in his conformation, naturally moves in correct balance, has spacious gaits, suppleness and a clear talent for collected work. In addition, he has an exceptionally willing, down-to-earth and uncomplicated character. All of this makes him an ideal partner for the ambitious recreational rider or for a competition rider who, like myself, would love to see classical horsemanship return to the competition arena.
Carthago was bred and lovingly raised with the dream of continuing my own academic riding journey. Unfortunately, my body has decided otherwise and I am forced to build in more rest in order to fully recover.
Carthago is regularly trimmed, wormed, vaccinated and is in perfect health. He is raised in a stable herd of mares of different ages. During the day he lives on a track system. At night the horses are stabled to allow their hooves to dry. When conditions allow, the horses live outside 24/7. He is completely comfortable in both systems. He is without doubt the most uncomplicated horse I have ever owned or known.
Pedigree
Carthago is by Kjento (Negro x Jazz) out of Florinna PK (Floriscount x Donnerhall).
He is expected to reach approximately 1.75 m when fully grown. In the photos you see his sun-bleached summer coat
