Lusitano gelding for sale - Due to a change in circumstances, I am looking for a suitable new home for my gelding, who was born in 2008. He is approx. 165 cm tall and currently barehoof.
He currently lives in a small herd during the day and in a single stall at night. A large group is too much for him - he feels more comfortable in small, stable constellations and does best in a stall.
Important to know: He is very sensitive and needs time to build up trust. If you want everything straight away, you will meet with resistance - but if you give him time, you will get a very loyal, fine horse. He is unsure of himself when he is jerked around and then withdraws.
He is familiar with arena work and riding out in a group. Riding alone is possible if he trusts his human. When it comes to hoof care, he needs someone who is calm and understanding - not a rough hand.
His past is shrouded in darkness, but it was probably not always easy. All the more reason for me to wish him a place where he can arrive.
