great leisure partner - Norbu came to me raw at the age of 3.5, was broken in at the age of 6 and has been a very reliable and motivated leisure partner ever since. He is committed and eager to learn in the arena (tends to be a nerd), whether in hand, lunging or working under saddle. He is great to ride out on his own and can also explore unfamiliar terrain. Whether it's level crossings, underpasses, heavy vehicles etc., he follows the rider's composure and doesn't get rattled by "ghosts" that other horses see when he's in a group. He is a great support for still insecure hand horses. He is not broken in and does not know any pulling work. However, I could well imagine him doing both. He "only" knows hoof care and hoof boots, as he has never worn shoes or adhesive shoes. A few years ago he had a sarcoid under his left ear, which disappeared completely after AW5 therapy.
