Enchanting PRE mare in special color - 🦄 enchanting PRE mare in special color 🦄
I am selling my sugar-sweet PRE mare in buckskin cream. Her name is Tortola, which means "turtle dove" and the name says it all. Of course she has ANCCE paper and would also be interesting for breeding. Her father is a Cremello, as is her full brother. Visually, she has a pleasant height of approx. 1.56 and will be a little over 1.60. Her longhair is simply phenomenal and shimmers in 3 colors. She is a sporty representative of her breed just like her sire. Tortola has good hooves and her teeth were freshly done at the beginning of March. Her whole character is simply sweet as sugar. She has really nice gaits and a solid nervous system. A horse that is easy to "turn on" but that also copes well when she doesn't have to do anything. Even at the vet, farrier, etc. she is always kind and eager to please! She has been with me since she was one year old and is very well socialized and used to being in an open stable in a mixed herd with all breeds and age groups and can stand up for herself but is never mean! She is also very robust despite her delicate appearance and I haven't even had to cover her up in this year's extremely cold weather. All in all, she is a very uncomplicated horse. She is always 100% respectful towards people and has an enormous "will to please". Tortola turned 3 years old at the end of January and is currently regularly worked by me in hand on the cavesson (going into corners, mobilizing, counter and shoulder-in, backwards, etc.) and lunged, as well as regularly taken out into the field as a hand horse, where she is always and everywhere super fine in handling. She is currently blind-buckled and flexions are started. She is also already used to a pad on her back. I also believe that she would really enjoy free work!
Reason for handing her in: I bought a second PRE mare last year and (unfortunately) realized that I prefer to treat her and that Tortola will miss out in the long run. I don't want Tortola to remain an eternal "number 2", because she doesn't deserve that and I hope that she finds the person of her heart who deserves this horse with a character of gold.
It would be important to me that she goes to an open stable with permanent access to feed.
