Beautiful people-oriented Curly Horse gelding - Mio is a bright, people-oriented gelding who not only impresses with his rare breed, but also with his friendly nature and willingness to learn. He has solid basic training and has already been broken in Western style. His training is still in development - ideal for experienced riders who enjoy further developing and patiently accompanying a young horse. He was initially ridden in a professional western stable by an experienced trainer.
Despite his handicap - Mio is missing his right eye - he masters everyday life with confidence. The handicap does not noticeably restrict him and he is confident both in the herd and in the field. He is well-balanced, attentive and easy to handle both in daily handling and under saddle.
What Mio brings to the table 🐴 Basic western training He has been worked carefully and without sporting pressure in western style and knows the basics. He still needs help and work in canter. Mio will show a 4th gait if desired.

It is very important to us that Mio is placed in an environment where people really want to get involved with him. His new owner should have the time and calmness to train him further, to encourage him and to be a reliable partner for him.

Mio currently lives in a herd of geldings in an active stable. Mio and his herd are out in nature 24/7. In winter in a paved area, in summer in the paddock. Feed is available 24/7 and he receives a portion of concentrated feed once a day.
It is really very difficult for us to part with our herd, but unfortunately time does not permit any alternative. Please also take a look at the advertisement for his friend and herd mate Marengo - an adorable, super-trained Tinker with a big heart is also looking for a new home.
